Took all these photos using my newly acquired Digital Rebel XT. I must say, till now very pleased with it. Even knowing that the EOS 400D is coming out in another 2 weeks, I guess I can't complain at all. This Camera is way too cool and fun to use. Also, being lighter comparing to the nikon D50 or D70, it's much easier to carry around. What's more, to go along with my new crumpler camera bag! OWW! What more can I ask for? Need to save for a new lens, 17mm-85mm. :) To add to my collection. Last week, we went to Botanic Garden, tried out the camera for the first time. Today, we went to Sembawang Park. By King's demand, the photos that were taken on National Day. :) Though the night's experience were pretty bad due to the super long jam, but the photos taken were still pretty good. The part when Seth enjoyed watching the fly pass, the parachuters, and fireworks, made it all worthwhile. Today, we went to Plaza Singapura and Botanic Garden. After his first birthday, Seth progress pretty fast. He starts to babble and talks a lot. He starts to attempt to walk a few steps. Just today, he walked 5 steps to his daddy. I've been neglecting the blog for months. That's really bad. I hope I am not neglecting Seth and Olive Tree too. :D I have been very involved in scrapbooking, doing up LOs and albums for gifts. Seth's birthday celebration was held on 18th June 2006. We had the party at home and invited approximately 60 guests. We catered buffet. Olive Tree and I were so busy with decorating the house up with balloons, birthday banner etc. I was totally tired out as I went for an overnight crop at MWL and was busy decorating the goodie bags and complete the accordion album for Olive Tree (Father's Day's Gift). I went home at 5 plus in the morning on Saturday morning. Thereafter, we went gathering the last minute stuffs for Seth's party. The party started around noon and guests arrived. It's long overdue, I know. So very sorry for not being as faithful in updating this blog compared to the scrapbooking blog . The AR challenges have occupied most of my time now, after work. I am always chasing, chasing to view the LOs that all the amazing gals did! Kudos! Anyway, for the past 2 weeks, have been pretty slow for me, with the long weekends, over the polling day, the Vesak Day. I wanted to take a break, getaway to overseas but I was too tired and aching all over to really plan anything. So, the long weekends were tied down in SG. During the last 2 weeks, Seth has made quite a fair bit of improvement in his motor skills. I was reminiscing the time when BB Seth first born, the little things that made him a "big" boy now. How time flies. It was really a very intriguing 10 months of a new baby's life! No words can describe the feelings of being a mommy, a SAHM, a FTWM now. It's alot of things encompass together that makes me such a {fill in the blank} mommy. There isn't a day that I will go by, without thanking God for his love for us and with such a wonderful blessing bestowed upon us. BB Seth has been such a dear boy. Of course, I don't deny hair pulling days when he simply loves to do things that we disapprove of, the sleepless nights that he has put us through. As usual, we went to my mil's place in the evening. As usual, I was aloof and not looking after BB Seth much as I have this thinking, I should be letting BB Seth enjoy his time at his gramps and not be overly concern since lots of family members are around to play with him, look after him. We left for home at 8pm. While saying our goodbye, my eldest sil said to us, "what is in his mouth? He seems to be chewing something?" Olive Tree put his finger in BB Seth's mouth and out he drew out a washer, which at first glance was a screw to me! I was stunned! So was Olive Tree?! How the heck BB Seth got the washer in his mouth and for how long has he been having it in his mouth?! Gosh! Thank God he didn't swallow the washer! I felt so bad, I was wobbly, I feared the worse...but it's really God's Grace that BB Seth did not swallow the washer! MIL was in explanation and all that, but I wasn't listening, as I was in deep thoughts....in my thoughts of the what if....

D-day for IRAS e-Filing! I am such an 11th hour person, that I manage to e-file my tax return last night. Anyway, I am not getting any income for year 2005. So it's totally easy for me to e-file. Clicking and clicking a few buttons and the e-file is done. However, it wasn't so smooth flowing for Olive Tree. WHY? Because he has forgotten his Singpass PIN and he has to get a new one. Worse part is, he can only get it today, since I am such a last minute work person, he'll have to mad rush into getting the PIN from the appointed places for SINGPASS application. YES! I have totally neglected my blog. Not updating....have been too hyped up on the new job and also adjusting to the nature of a FTWM. Officially I joined the company on 3rd April 2006. Yes, BB Seth has 2 budding teeth on his lower gum. It's about time that his teeth making their grand appearance. Previously, he has been uncomfortable due to the teething process and waking up by the hour or so... Now that the budding teeth are out, it should be better for him. I have actually took a few of the big mouth laughing and revealing his teeth but alas! My new purchase SD Card failed me when I was snapping myself happy at the zoo on Monday! URRRGH! Yes, I've went for my interview with the prospecting company and I am relieved that everything went on pretty well and I finally stepped out of my comfort zone as a SAHM. :D How fruitful was the week? Hmmm. These are the things I've done: 1. Went to IT show and got myself the ink cartridges for my HP Photosmart 2575, the TwinMOS 1GB SD with free Card Reader/Writer . Shopped till I nearly dropped! 2. Went for the interview and managed to catch up with ex-colleagues. 3. Purchased an IKEA SET Workstation! Fantastic and great for storing my SB Stuffs and doing SB works. It's really value for money. Was selling @ $365, now on sale, selling @ $145! There were some hiccups when we bought the the SET Workstation at IKEA. Woke up in the morning mom goes like this, Mom: "Soi Khim's niece who quitted her high pay job to look after her baby, now got a new job liao. She can get job so fast!" Moi: ........ Mom: "I just don't understand why people can find job so easily, you like so difficult to get a job. See you, always on computer, but no job interview no job!" Moi: .......... Seeing the joy in Olive Tree's eyes, it's like sparkling with fire and passion for his darling boy. He is totally in love with his BB Seth! Imagine he can sing praises about his son so much that it gets so mushy at times! haha! That's the joy of being a daddy. The joy of able to see his son smiles, the achievement of milestones. He can tell me repeatedly, "He is sooooo adorable, sooooo handsome." It's the kinda of joy that you will not be able to experience unless you are a parent yourself. I always stand in awe when I see BB Seth. He is getting more and more active, intelligent and playful. He knows what we are saying when we say certain things, he comprehends in his own way. It's such a wonderful feeling to always be able to snap photos of BB Seth. The laughters, the cries the whines. He is always eager to pose for the camera and smiling face welcoming any shots taken. Bro has said he is photogenic. Indeed! Look at the photos! Olive Tree had a food poisoning case that got me real mad! It wasn't him being sick that made me that mad. It was having the food that cause him this discomfort and MC that caused me to fume and still fuming hot! It was such an unhappy birthday buffet we had attended on Sunday at his Aunt's place. Satisfaction, is when you are very pleased and a cool breeze goes pass you and make you relaxed totally, with the uplifting heart. After I have given birth to BB Seth, the kinda of satisfaction comes in bigger package. Why, the very first satisfaction is already, giving birth to BB Seth! How not to be satisfied when God has given me such a precious gift that is so priceless? Follow soon after, is the satisfaction of breast-feeding him and him growing so healthily and no supplement of formula milk at all! Seeing BB Seth throughout his milestones, how his looks changes and such a happy baby, how he overcomes every obstacles in learning and emerge an achiever. It's nothing else but called SATISFACTION! I have to say this, and am not shy about it, he is totally gorgeous in our eyes. That is, he evokes the adorable and yet intelligent looks that we are totally captivated by him.
