Surviving June

Hope your week has been good for the beginning of June. As usual, mine filled with tasks that need to be accomplished but again, not all are done with accordance to my wish. It's frustrating that I have to go through 2 meetings scheduled at 1pm, disrupting my milk expressing schedule and these are all last minutes change of time due to the other parties. I am so frustrated about such arrangement and will not entertain such requests to change the time to 1pm in future. It's not only disrupting to my pumping schedule and also my lunch time. I can hardly manage after the long meetings that ended about 4pm! Till then, I start to have wobbly legs, fainting spells. It's so crappy. Anyway, the good side of it is weekend is here. As I can spend my time with my darlings and do things leisurely. Some photos here are taken somewhere back in April. Our Sentosa Trip Photos, Update of Kids

These are some of the photos taken when we were on vacation at Sentosa. It was quite a fun time for both Seth and Grace. Though we didn't manage to get both of them in the pool, but we manage to get them into the bath-tub and swim together. :) Nothing like spending quality time with your kid. Learning to play the Rubik's Cube Grace's Cheeky Look. First for Grace in her Swimsuit. Getting a bit small to fit on her though. hahahaha! Will post more of the trip photos to my Flickr account. I need to be really discipline to update the milestones of the kids. Otherwise they will surely be forgotten when the time passes by. Grace started to wave bye-bye when she's almost 8 months. The adorable part of it is, when she waves, she will then clap her hands, as if praising herself that she waves bye-bye. Indeed when you have repetition actions, words with your babies, they will learn really fast. She started off learning how to clap her hands when I was singing to her, clap, clap c...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(

Update

Road to recovery....is always not easy. On Monday, 31st March, whole of the family was down with the flu bug. We thought that the new PD and new medication will help to speed up the recovery of the kids. Grace on nebulizer has actually helped her in breathing better and less wheezing, just phlegmy. However, for Seth, he's condition turns for a worse on Wednesday night as he ran a temperature of 38 deg C! His fever were like roller coaster for the past few days and the highest it went were 39.6 deg C, on Wednesday afternoon. We had to rush him to KKH A&E. He was so traumatized by the previous experience when he was 1.8 years old. He was screaming and complaining to go back home and not stay in hospital. We had such a difficult time getting him to calm down and not scream. Seth was subjected to sponging, instead of cold shower which I refuse. He was administered with Paracetamol Suppository. Thereafter, a chest X-ray to determine the cause of the high fever. The result came out w...

Medical House

filled the kitchen top. Various medication to feed Seth and Grace. Sometimes, we can get a bit confuse and in a fluster, we nearly feed the wrong medication to the kids. HIAZ! That's really bad. Grace have been having the coughs almost every time she's asleep. I am so concern about her not having enough rest. Just last night, I was on guard waiting for her to wake up from the cough and give her a session of nebulizer. But then she slept till 4am, I did not dare to wake her seeing that sleep is so precious for her. When she cried herself from her sleep, her temperature was 38.8 deg C! Gosh! Immediately, I fed her iBrufen to bring down her temperature. Poor gal. Seth's getting ok. He is just having the phlegmy cough and also the phlegm that flowed back to his ear that needing him to take antibiotics to prevent any infections. Tomorrow will be work day and gonna be busy as our helper will be flying in from Philippines, so will pick her up from the airport tomorrow evening. So...

for the record

Grace started to be on all fours when she's about to reach 6 months. Her milestones achievement is much faster than Seth. Here are some random photos taken during the period of March. (I am so delayed in my blogging but hope the photo blog can help to capture some of the moments of the kids growing stages. (can't wait to scrap about them with these photos) This is when she's 6.5 months. Feast@East, celebrating Grandma's birthday Morning Ray on Grace Angry, Happy, Fierce Seth when he is 2.9 yrs old

We went to Sembawang Park for a stroll. Seth enjoyed the bubbles time at the park and were more adventurous this time. Chasing after the bubbles, running down slopes and all. Technorati Tags: ourblessedseth

decision

The migraines keep on haunting me till I am really in distress. Tried to rest, not even surf on my PB but still, hurts me so bad. The feeling of banging my head against the walls is so strong. I took a nap between 3pm-5pm. Seth woke up from his at quarter to 5. Mom carried him in to my room and just left him there, went back to her cooking. I have no idea what got into Seth, he was crying for his grandma, and I was really tired and hot. Room was like a sauna even with the fan on. Can imagine the frustration I have. I calmly tell him, that grandma's cooking and will come in to the room after she's done. He simply refuse to stop! From calmness, to impatience, I asked him to stop his nonsense. He cried even more, to the stage of catching his breath. Gosh!! So, end up, with the acute migraine, and the anger in me, I get him out of the room. With him still sobbing, my mom scolded me for not taking care of Seth, and told him that no point in sticking to me so closely, since I am so i...

Seth-lingo

Seth: {Scratching his buttocks...} Seth: "Jia Lat... Pain Pain." Me: {Shocked and rolling my eyes! (What have he been learning??)} *** For the past week or so, I've been spending time scrapbooking or if not, with Seth. To me, it's precious time to capture his everyday's life and speech which always brings smiles and surprises. He has grown so much! Especially when I see his younger days photos. These days, he speaks so much more and learn to pretend play a lot. He is able to think and construct simple sentences. eg. "mommy, take horse horse." (his rocking horse from the room), "daddy, buy bread." Just yesterday, he starts to tell me, "I love love mommy." AWE!! That truly touches me! It is tough to leave him to even go back to work. Oh btw, I am on leave again. I guess I needed the rest and also have been feeling quite a fair bit of tightening in tummy area. This pregnancy, I become so much sensitive compared to preggy with Seth. Hope ...

handling the tantrums throwing....

Part 2. Oh manz, it's really not easy to keep your cool with a coming to 2 year old throwing his tantrums. Seth is at it again.... He was whiny and really difficult especially during bed-time. Before Labor Day, he would cry till his eyes were so swollen and all mucus running on the face. Regardless of how we try to carry, sway, or whatever. Takes his time to cool off. This few days were much better with him in his happy mood. Especially after the Labor Day crop, he was more smooth tempered. He had a fun day playing with the Jie Jies and Aunties... :) Here are some pics from the crop. Thanks, gals for coming by and I had fun and enjoyed the time we spent together. Especially to bring back the mojo to scrap! :D Completing my album for I AM, Woman soon... will post later. Small Talk: Here's a hilarious video on kiddy talk... Enjoy! Tantrums

Seth was really in his very first flow of tantrums throwing today. He wakes up at 8am and Olive Tree brought him to my mom's while I stayed home to do my work. On the way, Olive Tree called me and told me that Seth refused to go to my mom's and started to whine and cried from CTE exit Ave 5 till they reached my mom's place. Even my mom called me and commented that Seth was in his moods and disallow her to close the main door but to leave it open as if to expect us to pick him up. ("o) We have no idea why such behavior of him. So I said I will try to come over once I manage to complete my work. However, he went through the day ok and by the time I finished my work from home, it was already 3plus. I went to meet AM for tea and my lunch at amk hub. Reaching my mom's around 6pm. Seth was ok. However, during dinner time, he was super sticky to Olive Tree. Refused to get down and wanted to sit on his lap while Olive Tree ate dinner. So his tantrums throwing starts from t...
