First Day of Work

sillytop

YES! I have totally neglected my blog. Not updating....have been too hyped up on the new job and also adjusting to the nature of a FTWM.

Officially I joined the company on 3rd April 2006. On the first day of work nothing much but orientation. Simply waiting time for making ID Pass has taken away my half day at work. So, is it a blessing or what? Anyway, after the pass was done, I realised that they have given me back my ex-employment employee No. Heee....so that's to say, my particulars were not updated and still reflects my dialect name. Hiaz. I am pretty particular about the dialect name, as I am always being mistaken as a male just by reading my dialect name!!!! Anyway, I had requested the Building Management to change my ID Pass name to reflect what is in my NRIC. However, the processes in the company taking snail mail and I managed to get the replacement only today. Talk about efficiency, *shake head*

Things were kinda slow in office for me. I have been sitting in my cubi and facing the sillytop for the day, in between will be lunch time, expressing bm time in the mothercare room, commuting between blocks to catch up with ex- and now present colleagues. Heee....so a week's gonna pass. Time do flies.

Today, we are going to attent the memorial service of our dear colleague, Foong Sze Chern and his wife. The company has arranged the transportation to the memorial service.

In remembrance of Sze Chern,

You are remembered as,
one with a passion for life,
always helpful and displaying eagerness in work.
You are out-going, witty,
your personality and your adaptability shines.
Filled with the glory of Jesus,
you are a dear brother in Christ.
I pray with shalom,
that your family be comforted,
loved and know that you and Joey
are in our Father's Kingdom, close to His side.

You are fondly remembered.

Jesus Loves Me

Seth woke up from his afternoon nap. He walked out of the bedroom and I was in the living room. Started to warm up a bit, and then he drove his fire engine truck around the living room. Next moment, here's what he was singing, Jesus loves me, yes I know, For the bible tells me noe, Didder one to him bidon, Yes, Jesus, loves me..... I thought I have heard wrongly, and he was repeating the song again and again. It's amazing for me. :) The effects of singing lullaby to your kid. They do remember!!! And can sing out almost 70% of the song, though the pronunciation may not be there for some words. But he gets the tune correct. It's so cute and heartwarming to hear that from my boy. Updates....more updates

D-day for IRAS e-Filing! I am such an 11th hour person, that I manage to e-file my tax return last night. Anyway, I am not getting any income for year 2005. So it's totally easy for me to e-file. Clicking and clicking a few buttons and the e-file is done. However, it wasn't so smooth flowing for Olive Tree. WHY? Because he has forgotten his Singpass PIN and he has to get a new one. Worse part is, he can only get it today, since I am such a last minute work person, he'll have to mad rush into getting the PIN from the appointed places for SINGPASS application. I felt bad and I apologise. What to do with a wife like that? Just have to bite the bullet lor. Since last week test posting in the office is working well, I deem I should step up my blog update. Has not been very constant in updating my blog, be it the scrapblog or this. Feeling bad about it. Seth has been growing in tremendous speed! haha! That's obvious! He starts to enter the mimic stage where he'll mimic t...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(
