Going gaga over this phone, with all the fabulous features (iPod, iPod Video, Internet, Phone functionality, all in it) Mr Jobs have put into it, I can't wait for it to launch. Alas! The States are only launching it US Time 6pm, 29/06/07. So for Singapore die-hard fans, wait long long... till next year? In hope the stock don't run out as well! How frustrating? I did not sleep much yesterday with all the "you know what" tots. So when I came home, I am dead-beat. Went to bed at 10pm, with Seth being such a darling when I said I wanna sleep in the other room by myself, he actually said bye to me and followed his daddy back to the master-bedroom. I manage to drift off quite quickly. However, woke up at 2 plus, disturbed by the bad tummyaches! I think to myself "WHAT AGAIN!!" SICK AGAIN!" Then went to the toilet to do the biz, and somewhat rest is being disturbed. Thereafter, went to the scraproom and surf online. Lately, have been having this annoying hearing issue on my left ear. Keep hearing my own heartbeat thumping thumping and kinda irritating. After the block nose block ear, this happened. Hope it goes away soon. 10 more weeks, 10 more weeks to go. I am really not intolerable of the pregnancy process but guess it's towards the job I am doing. I just can't wait to get out and go on to have m...

there are more than 24 hours a day... I could make use of the time to do more things. Somehow, the work in office never seems to end. I can't complete impending tasks and that got me frustrated. Why? So when I get off work, I still think of what I should have completed and the backlogs should have diminish and not pile up. I am terrible in keeping to deadlines as well. Missing them one by one. I am incompetent then, if I can't complete, isn't it? So I should have more time, if possible to get the jobs done, working 8 hours a day did not enable me to complete so I need more. But then again, how hard I tried, I still find that I can't shake off the work thoughts even when I go home, and that is totally not right, as I can't rest. I would wake up in the wee hours of 4am and think think think.... what have I need to clear on work before I go for delivery? ok, I am stressed.... and rumbling... Technorati Tags: mommy's rants

We had a mini family party to celebrate Seth's 2nd Birthday. We deco the house with CARS balloons and banners. Thanks to AM for the wonderful and delicious cupcakes. :) Besides the cupcakes, Seth got a ice cream cake made from Swensen's. Nothing but CARS! Aiyo, he is going crazy over cars... (**,) He had a wonderful time and did not nap at all for the whole day! So, by the end of the day, he has super cranky that's a handful for us to handle. I caught his flu bug. Came down with sore throat and running nose, during his birthday party, gosh, aching body and had fever again!!!! {*DRAT*} spoiling the mood but I tried to stay up to entertain my bro's buddy and wife but the body succumbed to the pain and I had to rest.... feel so pai sei. Olive Tree so wanting to watch this movie. He was with expectancy since end May, when he saw the advert on BK pamphlets etc. Even to the extend he said there was a documentary of The Making of Transformers. Aiyo.... But I am also anticipating that this is going to be a good movie as well, though may not be very suitable for kids to watch. Any films of Steven Spielberg should not be any disappointment. It is only now that I can totally empathized with the preggy ladies who suffer from constant legs cramps. Just this week, I've got 3 to 4 attacks and the pain is totally URRRGGH!!! Last night I've got the attack on my left leg, and this morning, I've got the attack on my right!!! It's so irritable. Therefore, for the whole day, the muscles ache bad, suffering from giddy spell as well, so once again, I am on medical leave. Whenever, you tell him off about an undesirable action that he does, he will use his finger and point at you, mumble and mumble away, imitating the one who is scolding him. *shake head* He learnt how to say, "oh my GOD!" when he "accidentally" drop things (ya, on purpose kind) The talkative him is fun, and the words he picks up and speaks right away fluently amaze me at times . So angry!! I know when I kana the botak cili to support me as a products sales for my tender, I know it's gone case liao! Why the co. pay so much for such people, high grade, and when its at the 11th hour to review the tender, the botak cili come and tell you, " I am on MC today, will not be able to attend the review." Bloody hell! Nothing was compiled for me!!! Just forward all the emails to me and that's it!?! Botak cili, sorry to be so unkind to you, hope you not going to be in permanent health problem, (this is the usual act of his when he needs to meet customers about complaints or supporting other Accounts Managers in tenders) I am fuming hot hot hot now!!!!

We visited the MAAD at Red Dot Design Museum yesterday. Pretty interesting works displayed by the designers and can be purchased as well. The event ends today, but do not fret as it happens every 1st weekend of the month. :) Jacq , my fellow scrapper, whose works that I always admired. She has a stall set up with 2 other friends. Jacq specialized in Scrapbooking (she takes orders for Layouts, altered projects, albums as well, visit her etsy website for more of her creations. She's good with fabric craftworks too. This is so good that I need to share with you! Butter Crabs with Coconut Crumbs It is very buttery, of course. May not be for those who dislike butter. The migraines keep on haunting me till I am really in distress. Tried to rest, not even surf on my PB but still, hurts me so bad. The feeling of banging my head against the walls is so strong. I took a nap between 3pm-5pm. Seth woke up from his at quarter to 5. Mom carried him in to my room and just left him there, went back to her cooking. I have no idea what got into Seth, he was crying for his grandma, and I was really tired and hot. Room was like a sauna even with the fan on. Can imagine the frustration I have. I calmly tell him, that grandma's cooking and will come in to the room after she's done. He simply refuse to stop! From calmness, to impatience, I asked him to stop his nonsense. He cried even more, to the stage of catching his breath. Gosh!! So, end up, with the acute migraine, and the anger in me, I get him out of the room. Captured on the night when we had our very first dining experience at Top of the M . The occasion: celebrate Jon's Birthday. It's Seth very first experience, but obviously to him, it's just like any kind of dinner. As for me, I've to wait for 3 decades to be able to have such an experience! bwhaahhaha....what a funny thought. The restaurant has such a quiet ambience and at certain times, Seth was bubbling so loudly that we were so embarrassed. The waiters and waitresses were so nice to come over and play with Seth. One even offered chocolate truffles filled with mint ice cream for Seth! Too bad, my darling son don't know how to appreciate and those went into our tummies instead. (**,) You can see he enjoyed himself loads. Playing and being entertained. He was even entertained by the live strings group (or whatever you call that) with "You are my sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars". That amazed him! We had a dinner set for 4 of us. Ok, I am not in the best mood now after been trapped in the terrible jam from home to mom's. Gosh! Journey took 45 mins! Can you imagine? Even how early we get out of the house, the traffic is really bad. Olive Tree has a morning meeting in office and can't be late for that. So I make it a point to get ready earlier and out of the house by 8am. However, the jam at the expressway started at the tpe exit and we got to take the slip road and travel by YCK. It seems that we got out of a jam to enter another! I can feel his frustration over the jam and mood is bad. He was driving / flooring the accelerator type. Hiaz...... By the time we reached mom's. I am already drained. Knowing Seth would wanna be carried up my mom's, I was harsh to him and asked him to walk by himself and not be lazy. Me having to lug the bags and stuff. I can't be carrying him up even it's only a few floors. Especially now in my 2nd Tri. Not forgetting now, I am hungry again, and nothing to eat...

(What have he been learning??)} *** For the past week or so, I've been spending time scrapbooking or if not, with Seth. To me, it's precious time to capture his everyday's life and speech which always brings smiles and surprises. He has grown so much! Especially when I see his younger days photos. These days, he speaks so much more and learn to pretend play a lot. He is able to think and construct simple sentences. eg. "mommy, take horse horse." (his rocking horse from the room), "daddy, buy bread." Just yesterday, he starts to tell me, "I love love mommy." AWE!! That truly touches me! It is tough to leave him to even go back to work. Oh btw, I am on leave again. I guess I needed the rest and also have been feeling quite a fair bit of tightening in tummy area. This pregnancy, I become so much sensitive compared to preggy with Seth. Hope ...

We have been cracking our brains what to eat for Mother's Day dinner. So, on Friday night, out with Jon and Marg for dinner at Quality Hotel porridge buffet, I spontaneously suggested to cook for our mom. They were game about it and so we planned the pot luck session. Early morning on Saturday, Olive Tree and I woke up at 5am to go to the Fishery Port to get the freshest catch, hoping to get pomfret, prawns and crabs. However, we reached there a tad bit late as most of the good stuffs were wholesaled out and we manage to purchase only the pomfret which was a good buy at S$25.00 for 2 big and fresh fish. Thereafter, we went to Chong Pang market for more marketing, got the crabs and prawns there. Talking about prawns, we had a bad experience with one stall at the Fishery Port. We came across this fella, at mid 30s, who seems to have quite a fair bit of prawns left. So I asked him, "How much are you selling for 1kg of prawns?" He said, "S$15.00". I asked Olive Tree...

Part 2. Oh manz, it's really not easy to keep your cool with a coming to 2 year old throwing his tantrums. Seth is at it again.... He was whiny and really difficult especially during bed-time. Before Labor Day, he would cry till his eyes were so swollen and all mucus running on the face. Regardless of how we try to carry, sway, or whatever. Takes his time to cool off. This few days were much better with him in his happy mood. Especially after the Labor Day crop, he was more smooth tempered.
