Captured on the night when we had our very first dining experience at Top of the M. The occasion: celebrate Jon's Birthday. It's Seth very first experience, but obviously to him, it's just like any kind of dinner. As for me, I've to wait for 3 decades to be able to have such an experience! bwhaahhaha....what a funny thought. The restaurant has such a quiet ambience and at certain times, Seth was bubbling so loudly that we were so embarrassed. The waiters and waitresses were so nice to come over and play with Seth. One even offered chocolate truffles filled with mint ice cream for Seth! Too bad, my darling son don't know how to appreciate and those went into our tummies instead. (**,)

You can see he enjoyed himself loads. Playing and being entertained. He was even entertained by the live strings group (or whatever you call that) with "You are my sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars". That amazed him! We had a dinner set for 4 of us. Seth simply enjoyed the onion soup (how luxury is it, as the onion soup cost SGD28 if to order by itself!) He practically chomped the bread which was served. Fine dining indeed and the food served does meet the reputation of the restaurant. (thumbs-up) I managed a photo of the dessert, ice cream sorbet (yummy) with fruits in wafer basket.

After the dessert, we almost blow our tummies. ("o) By the time we completed our dinner course, we almost complete one revolution of the restaurant. Seth was pretty up-tied and kept pestering us to bring him around. He just want to climb up the spiral stairs... (faint). How can a celebration of birthday be complete without a birthday cake? We wanted to sing birthday song, but the old bro of mine, refuse. hee... pai sei. So it was just simply candles blowing, a minute of secret wishes and cake cutting. Somehow, we managed to stomach a slice (small slice) of cake each despite the sumptuous dinner. It was definitely a night to remember with lots of laughters and enjoyment. Thanks to Marg for inviting us.

Seth woke up from his afternoon nap. He walked out of the bedroom and I was in the living room. Started to warm up a bit, and then he drove his fire engine truck around the living room. Next moment, here's what he was singing, Jesus loves me, yes I know, For the bible tells me noe, Didder one to him bidon, Yes, Jesus, loves me..... I thought I have heard wrongly, and he was repeating the song again and again. It's amazing for me. :) The effects of singing lullaby to your kid. They do remember!!! And can sing out almost 70% of the song, though the pronunciation may not be there for some words. But he gets the tune correct. It's so cute and heartwarming to hear that from my boy. Updates....more updates

D-day for IRAS e-Filing! I am such an 11th hour person, that I manage to e-file my tax return last night. Anyway, I am not getting any income for year 2005. So it's totally easy for me to e-file. Clicking and clicking a few buttons and the e-file is done. However, it wasn't so smooth flowing for Olive Tree. WHY? Because he has forgotten his Singpass PIN and he has to get a new one. Worse part is, he can only get it today, since I am such a last minute work person, he'll have to mad rush into getting the PIN from the appointed places for SINGPASS application. I felt bad and I apologise. What to do with a wife like that? Just have to bite the bullet lor. Since last week test posting in the office is working well, I deem I should step up my blog update. Has not been very constant in updating my blog, be it the scrapblog or this. Feeling bad about it. Seth has been growing in tremendous speed! haha! That's obvious! How he has grown, so is she... and my work

Have been busy for most of the weekends, shopping, spring cleaning around the house, resting, working.... Seems to have so much to do and so little time now. For I am such a last minute person, still not able to do proper time management. Sad. About Seth Toddlerhood has been challenging. He shows his temperament, he speaks his mind, learns really quick, be it bad or good habits. At a stage, he can be such a good boy a day, the next day, he wants to get what he wants and relentless till he gets them. We can pull all our hair out and he still insist to have it his way. Coaxing, scolding, all we've tried..... indeed challenging. We have to be really patience and stick to a routine for him. No matter how tired I may be, I would stick to the regular routine of getting him to brush his teeth, clean his face, morning, night, nap when we are at home. Cos if he didn't get his deserving rest, we get our deserving tantrums from Seth. As usual, he will make us melt with his awesome silly s...
