Tantrums

Seth @ Marina Fishing PongSeth was really in his very first flow of tantrums throwing today. He wakes up at 8am and Olive Tree brought him to my mom's while I stayed home to do my work. On the way, Olive Tree called me and told me that Seth refused to go to my mom's and started to whine and cried from CTE exit Ave 5 till they reached my mom's place. Even my mom called me and commented that Seth was in his moods and disallow her to close the main door but to leave it open as if to expect us to pick him up. ("o) We have no idea why such behavior of him. So I said I will try to come over once I manage to complete my work. However, he went through the day ok and by the time I finished my work from home, it was already 3plus. I went to meet AM for tea and my lunch at amk hub. Reaching my mom's around 6pm. Seth was ok.

However, during dinner time, he was super sticky to Olive Tree. Refused to get down and wanted to sit on his lap while Olive Tree ate dinner. So his tantrums throwing starts from there again. One moment, "want to go McDonalds", next, cling onto my 2nd sil while she's having dinner. He was such even when we left my mom's. At home, he asked his daddy for this and that but not wanting to signal what he really wants. After my shower, he wants me to take something. Again, not able to tell me what he wanted. He continue behave so whiny till bedtime, crying in between, gave him this and he said "no", pass him that, he pushed it away. AIYO! Made us so helpless manz! It was trying indeed for us. End up, I told Olive Tree to just let him be, as Seth is also pretty tired from all these, I pat him while he was sitting on the bed and he laid down after awhile from crying. Thank God, my prayers are answered. Seth dozed off pretty fast. Not attributing to him napping less today, in fact, he slept till 4plus to 5pm which is his norm. I prayed that it's not the terrible 2 coming and Seth will not be showing too much tantrums. But guess toddlers have their mood swings as well, like adults

top of the M

Captured on the night when we had our very first dining experience at Top of the M . The occasion: celebrate Jon's Birthday. It's Seth very first experience, but obviously to him, it's just like any kind of dinner. As for me, I've to wait for 3 decades to be able to have such an experience! bwhaahhaha....what a funny thought. The restaurant has such a quiet ambience and at certain times, Seth was bubbling so loudly that we were so embarrassed. The waiters and waitresses were so nice to come over and play with Seth. One even offered chocolate truffles filled with mint ice cream for Seth! Too bad, my darling son don't know how to appreciate and those went into our tummies instead. (**,) You can see he enjoyed himself loads. Playing and being entertained. He was even entertained by the live strings group (or whatever you call that) with "You are my sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars". That amazed him! We had a dinner set for 4 of us. What have I been doing?

Yes, I've been really busy. How did all these started, the digi SB, the addiction, the hunger for more ideas and all this equivalent to more time spent in front of my lappy. (I shall give my lappy a name....Let's just call it MoS) How does it sound? Aiya, anyway, it's my lappy, how I wanna name it, my prerogative. BB Seth was doing CIO training for more than a week already. He is still crying in the nights, we kinda of give up letting him cry in the wee hours and I continue to give him 1-2 times feeds. SO much of crying, that his double eyelids for his left eye popped out already. Poor guy. The routine now is, he'll cry a bit till he dozed off at 9-9.30pm. So, we'll have free time to do what we need to. (chores seems to be the utmost priority) However, I've been such an addiction to the board and SB(Scrap-booking) , I didn't do much and poor Olive Tree got to do it. Anyway, I did sweeping and mopping yesterday and have contributed to the house chores. (**,)...

A fruitful week

Yes, I've went for my interview with the prospecting company and I am relieved that everything went on pretty well and I finally stepped out of my comfort zone as a SAHM. :D How fruitful was the week? Hmmm. These are the things I've done: 1. Went to IT show and got myself the ink cartridges for my HP Photosmart 2575, the TwinMOS 1GB SD with free Card Reader/Writer . Shopped till I nearly dropped! 2. Went for the interview and managed to catch up with ex-colleagues. 3. Purchased an IKEA SET Workstation! Fantastic and great for storing my SB Stuffs and doing SB works. It's really value for money. Was selling @ $365, now on sale, selling @ $145! There were some hiccups when we bought the the SET Workstation at IKEA. When we reached home and I was eager to get Olive Tree to assemble the workstation, we found out that the hardwares were not in the package! Totally a wet blanket! Next day, we had to drop by IKEA again to get the hardwares and IKEA was apologetic enough for the m...
