Mom's the best

Kodak Moments with grandma

Mom went home last night. That marked the end of her stay with us for my confinement period. I feel so emotional about it. It's the same when I was in confinement after I gave birth to Seth. Geez, the heart felt so aching (though it's only her going back home). Spending time with her during the period was filled with a minor downs but there's no overnight grudges kinda of thing. Mom has always been taking good care of us, in terms of trying to provide us with good food, good cooking, care and love in her ways. Though at times, her demands can be quite "out of this world" but nonetheless she's my mom.

I enjoy the period she pampered me with tonics, doing the chores for us. Her actions can be very normal but I know that things she did was out of pure concern for us. The way she brighten up when she sees Seth in the morning, when she talks to Grace while carrying her in the arms. Heartwarming. Oh, even when I am writing this, I can tear a bit. See how much I've missed her already?

Sometimes, we are so caught up with things around us, the circumstances, the worries, the thoughts that they engulfed our minds. We tends to take a moment and show our love for the loved ones. We forgot to show a tiny weeny bit of concern for them. Only when one is away from us, then we realize that we have not been doing this, telling that, nicer words, better treatments..... I just hope you and I will show the little thoughts of love for your loved ones, every single day, so that you live your life, without much regrets of unsaid, undone stuffs.

Have a wonderful weekend.

top of the M

Captured on the night when we had our very first dining experience at Top of the M . The occasion: celebrate Jon's Birthday. It's Seth very first experience, but obviously to him, it's just like any kind of dinner. As for me, I've to wait for 3 decades to be able to have such an experience! bwhaahhaha....what a funny thought. The restaurant has such a quiet ambience and at certain times, Seth was bubbling so loudly that we were so embarrassed. The waiters and waitresses were so nice to come over and play with Seth. One even offered chocolate truffles filled with mint ice cream for Seth! Too bad, my darling son don't know how to appreciate and those went into our tummies instead. (**,) You can see he enjoyed himself loads. Playing and being entertained. He was even entertained by the live strings group (or whatever you call that) with "You are my sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars". That amazed him! We had a dinner set for 4 of us. Seth ...

Long Time No See/Hear

Yes, neglected the updates of Seth, what's going around at home, at work. Quite a fair bit has happened. Close friends would have known and I really thank God for faithful friends and sisters whom comforted and encouraged me during the time of trial. The episode starts off when I start falling sick frequently, worse came after March 18th, when I had a period of high for a week! That's terrible, felt aching, fever just simply to go away and not well to assume anything. Being out of office for a week proved to be disastrous I guess. Till date, I still have 322 mails not read in my mailbox! HA! The body has taken a toll, mentally, i am weak. Got to admit it, maybe the stress at work wasn't for me. I went back last week to complete outstanding tasks, (too many!!!!) and also trying to cope with so much requests from customers, traveling around, delivering documents. But I wasn't well yet, had diarrhea and vomit so nightly since last Wed till Friday. Boss, was picking on sma...

What have I been doing?

Yes, I've been really busy. How did all these started, the digi SB, the addiction, the hunger for more ideas and all this equivalent to more time spent in front of my lappy. (I shall give my lappy a name....Let's just call it MoS) How does it sound? Aiya, anyway, it's my lappy, how I wanna name it, my prerogative. BB Seth was doing CIO training for more than a week already. He is still crying in the nights, we kinda of give up letting him cry in the wee hours and I continue to give him 1-2 times feeds. SO much of crying, that his double eyelids for his left eye popped out already. Poor guy. The routine now is, he'll cry a bit till he dozed off at 9-9.30pm. So, we'll have free time to do what we need to. (chores seems to be the utmost priority) However, I've been such an addiction to the board and SB(Scrap-booking) , I didn't do much and poor Olive Tree got to do it. Anyway, I did sweeping and mopping yesterday and have contributed to the house chores. (**,)...
