His First at the Hair Salon

at junior league There's always the first. Seth first haircut at the salon, was on 5th Nov 2006. It was as impromptu as can be, we were in church on Sunday, after that went for our lunch. As we were at Happy Kidz Toys R Us to buy a toy car for Seth, we saw that there weren't many crowd at Junior League and got Seth for his hair cut. At first, he was ok, sitting on the chair, and the LCD TV was playing Barney (Seth's fav). When the hair stylist brought out his scissors and razor, oh manz, Seth starts to pull me towards him (as I was sitted besides him) and kept asking me to carry him! We coaxed him, get him toys etc. Thank God, he is still ok and sat there. However, after awhile, he simply refuse to sit even with toys. I've no choice but to carry him and sat on the chair with him while his hair was being cut. I must say I am proud that he did not cry so loudly after all despite repeated refusals. :)

Now he really looks more boy and no longer the baby hair untrimmed.

Update on myself, I am still in a lull mood. Feeling more depressed as I realised another deal is gone. I question the capabilities of mine, whether I am really suited to do sales at all? It seems that I am not able to engage customers as well as I thought I can. With too much paperwork in office and still needing to engage customers (which is from all over the sector of different services) How to do it well? Demoralized once again....... Not doing well at work, not doing well at home.....

crying sethSeth was in a very weird mood today. He had his night feed at almost 10pm. Normally he'll be ok after the feed and roll around on bed, then fall asleep. Tonight, he was so upbeat. Seems too tired. He wanted daddy to carry him, he wanted to go to living room. Asked for milk (we gave fresh milk warmed up) and bread but he ate little. Played in the living room for awhile and back to bed room, still as whiny. Aiyo, I was really tired after the day's work, as well as Olive Tree. Thank God that he is helping to look after Seth. I was hoping to get Seth to sleep early so that I can take a power nap, wake up and work. Seth was all tearing and cried for olympic world records, from 10plus cried till 12 am!! Aiyo! Breaks the heart! I breastfed him but he's suckling for comfort, its not healthy so I unlatched him, cried more and I sang to him......sang his Barney's songs till he doze off to sleep. Oh Man! I am left super awake and hungry. Hope he'll get better tomorrow and guess I must ensure mom gave him his nap promptly.

Over the weekend, the news are hot about kids' toes being stuck in escalator. I didn't know much about the news details until I watched the chinese news on Monday, saw the kid and to my horror, it's my friend's daughter! I was so horrified and cried! I know this friend personally and she's wonderful in sharing tips on breastfeeding and also slinging of baby. She was one of few moms I've met in mothering forum in SG which I really enjoyed talking to. Hope that Shiyr (her daughter) be recuperating well after the surgery. If you wants to know more about the incident, you can read it from here .

Guess now, Sales of Croc should be dipping tremendously after the escalator incident. Read this blog about the accident that happened to Shiyr.

So much for depressing stuffs,

Ryan @ taka

a handsome and adorable boy to perk us up. :) Ryan :P

so fine

*All of the above photos did not under go PP. What so great about these shots? Nothing really but just that it's taken with the newly acquired Fuji FinePix F100 fd . The decision of getting this was after reading the reviews, the forums and samples seen. Also, the PnS is so called, necessary now, since I find that bringing it around for our upcoming trip would be necessary. I must say the quality of photos taken in low light conditions definitely surpasses all that I've seen. Especially my old PnS Panasonic Lumix. I am eager to try out IQ again tomorrow morning and praying it's gonna be a beautiful day! Sam was telling me that be very careful with using this camera, cause when you really find it soo easy and obtaining superb IQ, you will tend to forget to use your DSLR! :D We'll see. On site comparison of the photos taken at John 3:16, this F100 fd really is much sharper as compared to Canon IXUS 860IS . Geez, which was what I have in mine previously if I wanna get a P...

Our Sentosa Trip Photos, Update of Kids

These are some of the photos taken when we were on vacation at Sentosa. It was quite a fun time for both Seth and Grace. Though we didn't manage to get both of them in the pool, but we manage to get them into the bath-tub and swim together. :) Nothing like spending quality time with your kid. Learning to play the Rubik's Cube Grace's Cheeky Look. First for Grace in her Swimsuit. Getting a bit small to fit on her though. hahahaha! Will post more of the trip photos to my Flickr account. I need to be really discipline to update the milestones of the kids. Otherwise they will surely be forgotten when the time passes by. Grace started to wave bye-bye when she's almost 8 months. The adorable part of it is, when she waves, she will then clap her hands, as if praising herself that she waves bye-bye. Indeed when you have repetition actions, words with your babies, they will learn really fast. She started off learning how to clap her hands when I was singing to her, clap, clap c...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(
