Mommy & Seth

Mommy & SethApparently, we are being paparazzied while we were asleep! How dare the paparazzi invade our private sacred moments! I bet the paparazzi enjoyed the steal shot because he has been trying umpteen times to capture this precious moment. Previously, the shots taken were either too blur or too dark.

It was a tiring Sunday for BB Seth. He was not able to sleep much as we were out to a birthday party, then grandma's place. When he was finally able to take his nap, we have reached our destination and got to wake him up unintentionally when we carry him. Only returned home around 8.30 pm. Bather BB Seth and nurse him. When he is tired, he'll be cranky. He was rolling on bed and extremely tired, while i sang lullabies to him. We have to really start to train him to sleep by himself. Though he is already so used to being nursed to sleep. I believe when he starts his 1st solid food, he'll probably be sleeping much better. It's God's hands now.

BB Seth's at his learning to creep stage. He is very active when you put him in prone position where he'll roll and roll. He'll loves to reach out for things in sight and put it to a gourmet tasting session. Currently, his favourite it's his changing mat! Rubbery and smelly yet he loves to roll over and savour every inch of it. Smelly because of the rubber not because of poop or pee (We are not unhygienic!). Have I ever mentioned that BB Seth loves excitement in heights play, swinging, etc? He does and he laughs out loud when we do such big actions with him. However, he is easily startled by loud sudden sounds, eg. the drilling or hacking sound! THANKS to the inconsiderate neighbor who waited till BB Seth is almost 6 months and to do all the repair works in their leaky toilet! IDIOTS!

Previously, I've sent a link to my friends on the English Language in Shanghai. It was really hilarious and it can only come from one source, who else but Kenny Sia, the Kuching Blog Joker. He has recently posted the 2nd version of Everiday Shanghai Engrish, do check it out. Recently, the blogasphere in Singapore has this fever on voting for Best Asian Blog, every time when I visit my usual read-outs, the blogger keep flagging readers to blog. It's really annoying, especially this site. Now, you know why he is definitely not going to get the vote because he is damn "loh soh".

Seth's Precious Moments

Getting so warm in the Happy Room, I got to end my blog rants now as need to help a friend to do some audio extraction thingy. Hope I can manage to figure it out and complete the project by tomorrow. Leaving you with this super adorable thing.

top of the M

Captured on the night when we had our very first dining experience at Top of the M . The occasion: celebrate Jon's Birthday. It's Seth very first experience, but obviously to him, it's just like any kind of dinner. As for me, I've to wait for 3 decades to be able to have such an experience! bwhaahhaha....what a funny thought. The restaurant has such a quiet ambience and at certain times, Seth was bubbling so loudly that we were so embarrassed. The waiters and waitresses were so nice to come over and play with Seth. One even offered chocolate truffles filled with mint ice cream for Seth! Too bad, my darling son don't know how to appreciate and those went into our tummies instead. (**,) You can see he enjoyed himself loads. Playing and being entertained. He was even entertained by the live strings group (or whatever you call that) with "You are my sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars". That amazed him! We had a dinner set for 4 of us. What have I been doing?

Yes, I've been really busy. How did all these started, the digi SB, the addiction, the hunger for more ideas and all this equivalent to more time spent in front of my lappy. (I shall give my lappy a name....Let's just call it MoS) How does it sound? Aiya, anyway, it's my lappy, how I wanna name it, my prerogative. BB Seth was doing CIO training for more than a week already. He is still crying in the nights, we kinda of give up letting him cry in the wee hours and I continue to give him 1-2 times feeds. SO much of crying, that his double eyelids for his left eye popped out already. Poor guy. The routine now is, he'll cry a bit till he dozed off at 9-9.30pm. So, we'll have free time to do what we need to. (chores seems to be the utmost priority) However, I've been such an addiction to the board and SB(Scrap-booking) , I didn't do much and poor Olive Tree got to do it. Anyway, I did sweeping and mopping yesterday and have contributed to the house chores. (**,)...

A fruitful week

Yes, I've went for my interview with the prospecting company and I am relieved that everything went on pretty well and I finally stepped out of my comfort zone as a SAHM. :D How fruitful was the week? Hmmm. These are the things I've done: 1. Went to IT show and got myself the ink cartridges for my HP Photosmart 2575, the TwinMOS 1GB SD with free Card Reader/Writer . Shopped till I nearly dropped! 2. Went for the interview and managed to catch up with ex-colleagues. 3. Purchased an IKEA SET Workstation! Fantastic and great for storing my SB Stuffs and doing SB works. It's really value for money. Was selling @ $365, now on sale, selling @ $145! There were some hiccups when we bought the the SET Workstation at IKEA. When we reached home and I was eager to get Olive Tree to assemble the workstation, we found out that the hardwares were not in the package! Totally a wet blanket! Next day, we had to drop by IKEA again to get the hardwares and IKEA was apologetic enough for the m...
