Ok, after the long wait for Olive Tree to come back from his Treasure Hunt (Company's event), we had a quick dinner, sent mom back home, headed down to SITEX once again to get the long awaited printer. Anticipation is always killing but it's a good adrenalin rush for me, whom once in awhile needed some to make my life more lively!
BTW, Olive Tree is so steady! He came in first in the Company's Dept Treasure Hunt @ Pasir Ris Park. There are like 26 teams. His team of 4, emerged winner and each got away with SGD150 Shopping Vouchers! Christmas Shopping, here we come! But before the shopping of Christmas Gifts, I have to shop for my printer!
It is quite an ironical trip to SITEX. I have in mind, to get the Brother MFC-620CN all the while. Thinking that it's cheaper, and really having AIO (Print/Scan/Fax/Copy) with affordability. So once we reached Brother's Booth, I looked for the staff that served Jas and us on Thursday. I requested a test print of the 4R color print. It's just so weird that the printing never takes place from the laptop to the Printer? I have given them at least 4 tries but non was successful. Honestly, if the printing is successful, I would have purchased the MFC-620CN. Ok, as disappointed with the technical glitches, I said I will go walk around and come back later and hopefully they are able to resolve the printing problem.
So where do you think we headed with less than half an hour on hand?

Yeah, HP. Of course, the comparison is a big gap for Brother to HP. HP is always well-known for their wonderful print quality and print head on cartridges that comes with a premium price. I was reluctant to consider the HP as I wanna lower my running cost of buying expensive cartridges. I was browsing and have in mind an AIO that is slightly on the high side compared to the MFC-620CN. I have some queries but the temp staff can't answer my queries and directed me to the HP Engineer. Boy! Am I glad that I have an in depth discussion with this Engineer called Daniel. He took his time to explain to me what's the meaning of 2400X4800dpi, 1200X6000dpi. Giving me a better knowledge of what I am seeking for. Also, he differentiated the different brands printing technologies, the cartridges life-span. It was educational. I am truly convinced that my investment on HP Printer will not be wasted. Therefore, I picked the choice printer and it was already time for the exhibition to end at 9pm. How swiftly the time flies when you are getting real entertained by such discussion. However, Olive Tree wasn't very pleased though, as BB Seth was grouchy. So sorry that he was grouchy in Daddy's hands. But once passed over to me, BB Seth is alright.
Quit the suspense, I present to you, the AIO Printer that we've got for Darling BB Seth's Print Project!

We headed home with this choice and it's gonna be Seth's Printing Machine.
After thought:
Was it God's work that cause the Brother Printer to malfunction so that we got blessed with a better quality Printer with lower running cost? Thank you Jesus!
