How was the Chinese New Year?

Seth on Red Banner

Busy with visiting family, relatives and friends. In fact, not having enough rest and took the slight hiatus from Digi-scrap. The hands got so itchy, the mind got so preoccupied that on the 4th day of Lunar New Year, I've got to go back down to my hobby.

BB Seth had such fun time visiting, being carried around by various people. Trying to "print" the faces in his mind. He was really a good sport with no inhibition when he was carried by strangers. My dad was busy advertising that I bring BB Seth out when he was very young so that he'll not be afraid of meeting people and no separation anxiety. He was so happy and smiling whenever he is in front of the camera or he is being teased at. Damn Cute!

We ate and ate. Olive Tree played mahjong on Lunar 1st day till 4 plus in the morning. Thank God it was at our graceland. I got to sleep and BB Seth was ok throughout the night with me breast-fed him when he wakes up.

This year was a year of reconciliation between my mom and my dad's 2nd and 3rd bro's wives. Hiaz, a long story but at least now they are in talking terms.

Jon and Marg went NZ, Chloe and family went HK. So they left the same day returned on Sat evening and Fri night respectively. I missed them.... Hee... Jas and Derick went Koh Samui, so nice! Both the couples (Jon&Marg Derick&Jas) were tanned tanned tanned!

I didn't really get over the chinese new year mood yet, as I am still seeing red, (ang baos always in bag). HAHA! Who knows when we will suddenly see someone we've known and then have to give ang baos, right? This coming Sat, we will be having advance Lunar 15th Day dinner at my mom's. It's actually Keefe's birthday celebration too! Hiaz, no choice but to appear as courtesy at Lynn's house and then head back AMK for dinner. I so missed my mom's steamboat!

so fine

*All of the above photos did not under go PP. What so great about these shots? Nothing really but just that it's taken with the newly acquired Fuji FinePix F100 fd . The decision of getting this was after reading the reviews, the forums and samples seen. Also, the PnS is so called, necessary now, since I find that bringing it around for our upcoming trip would be necessary. I must say the quality of photos taken in low light conditions definitely surpasses all that I've seen. Especially my old PnS Panasonic Lumix. I am eager to try out IQ again tomorrow morning and praying it's gonna be a beautiful day! Sam was telling me that be very careful with using this camera, cause when you really find it soo easy and obtaining superb IQ, you will tend to forget to use your DSLR! :D We'll see. On site comparison of the photos taken at John 3:16, this F100 fd really is much sharper as compared to Canon IXUS 860IS . Geez, which was what I have in mine previously if I wanna get a P...

Our Sentosa Trip Photos, Update of Kids

These are some of the photos taken when we were on vacation at Sentosa. It was quite a fun time for both Seth and Grace. Though we didn't manage to get both of them in the pool, but we manage to get them into the bath-tub and swim together. :) Nothing like spending quality time with your kid. Learning to play the Rubik's Cube Grace's Cheeky Look. First for Grace in her Swimsuit. Getting a bit small to fit on her though. hahahaha! Will post more of the trip photos to my Flickr account. I need to be really discipline to update the milestones of the kids. Otherwise they will surely be forgotten when the time passes by. Grace started to wave bye-bye when she's almost 8 months. The adorable part of it is, when she waves, she will then clap her hands, as if praising herself that she waves bye-bye. Indeed when you have repetition actions, words with your babies, they will learn really fast. She started off learning how to clap her hands when I was singing to her, clap, clap c...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(
