Olive Tree Cafe

I didn't realize how much I could have miss Olive Tree, now that he is gone for his 2 days 1 night workshop somewhere in a 3 star hotel in Singapore. I mean, it's only 2 days 1 night! Gosh! I feel that I have no back bone lei!

The day began with Olive Tree packing himself up for the workshop and kissing us good morning. I woke up early like yesterday as I need to do the chores around the house. BB Seth pooped on his saucer seat, so have to get it washed up so that he can sit in it for the day. I was hopeful that BB Seth sleeps longer but he woke up early today! So I have to look after him and had breakfast. The chores were accomplished with slinging him at the same time, since the saucer seat is still in drying process! That's a feat! Even preparing lunch, I slinged him.

Met Karen (Ex-colleague) at Bugis Junction for tea. So coincidentally, the cafe we went is called Olive Tree Cafe. Invoke my longing for Olive Tree.....hiaz... I had to excused myself to get BB Seth's diaper changed and also breast feed him as Karen had a friend (male) with us. So it isn't so nice to breast feed in front of him. I guess I took somewhat like, half an hour to get back to Karen. It was nice to have chatting time with friends. After tea, it was almost 6pm. I went about shopping with Karen at SEIYU, got the Christmas present for Olive Tree and got 2 tops for myself at a bargain. Had a quick dinner and then we head home. It was already 9 plus in the evening when we got home. BB Seth is really tired, and thankfully that he was under control while I was driving back. I quickly bathed him and get him to sleep by nursing him. He was already asleep when my mom called me! Urrrgh! I know mom's good intention of checking if BB Seth is ok, but the ringing kinda woke BB Seth up. So I pat him longer after I hung up the phone with mom and put him back to his cot. He woke up, thinking that he was all smiley with me, I told him that I am going to take a shower and will come back soon.

Seth's innocent lookWhile I was in the shower, I could hear him cooing away. When I get out of the shower, he was so hysterically crying with tears streaming down his chubby cheeks! I felt so bad! Guess he wanted company. Jon and Marg came by around 10pm as I have managed to calm BB Seth down and get him back to his sleep. We chatted till almost 11pm and they left.

It was pretty much an eventful day if you count the times I have to get BB Seth to calm down and not cry. He's getting more vocal and definitely requires attention. I wish Olive Tree is home, at least I am not so tied up and centred in Seth's day.

@ 1 year oldOh yeah, yesterday was Jewel Jada's 1st Birthday! She's the sweet princess of Justin and Jedidah. She's another happy baby and is loads of fun too. We went to her birthday celebration on Sunday at Jedidah's mom's place. I realized how time flies, Jewel's already 1 year old! BB Seth is already 5 months and 10 days old!

showing it differently

Sometimes, there are questions on my mind, on the love I have for Olive Tree or vice versa. How much we love each other? Ok, mushy....but that's the fact. Women in general will have such thoughts, whether the husbands still love the wives like courtship days, will the love ever change...blah blah blah... Maybe it's due to the fact that husband and wife have been staying together for so long, somehow or rather, might have taken each other for granted and will not express the love for one another that often which spurs such funny thoughts. However, my man has chosen the other ways to show me he still cares and loves me as much. For the little or big things that he do for the family and me. Olive Tree was in my scraproom last night, while I was in the living room watching Oprah. I thought he was doing some handywork for Grace's cabinets or something for Seth..... This morning, when I woke up, I went to my scraproom and this was what I saw besides my scrap table.... It's so...

No Idea

No idea to what I need for BB Seth, my 3rd sis-in-law asked, what else do we need for our blessed champion, think left and right, still can't think of a stuff that Seth's require....haa... Besides the Baby Cot that we need for him (which is, we are not going to buy), but that is too expensive for my sis-in-law to buy for us anyway. We are hoping for blessing of a dream Baby Cot for Seth. Otherwise, we will just make use of my bro's daughter's cot, which has been used since 1st kid, but still in pretty good condition. Today, went out with one of my TaiTais' Club pal, Janet. We went for lunch at Sembawang Hill Food Centre, her friend is operating a Pasta Stall there. Not bad, the food are reasonably priced, and the quality are comparable to Pastamania.....heard that she has to even reject crowds on weekends due to the high demand and long waits. Adding to my list of shopping for delivery, 4. Nursing Bras (How many to get huh??) Till now have yet, to meet up with Jed, ...

Updates....more updates

D-day for IRAS e-Filing! I am such an 11th hour person, that I manage to e-file my tax return last night. Anyway, I am not getting any income for year 2005. So it's totally easy for me to e-file. Clicking and clicking a few buttons and the e-file is done. However, it wasn't so smooth flowing for Olive Tree. WHY? Because he has forgotten his Singpass PIN and he has to get a new one. Worse part is, he can only get it today, since I am such a last minute work person, he'll have to mad rush into getting the PIN from the appointed places for SINGPASS application. I felt bad and I apologise. What to do with a wife like that? Just have to bite the bullet lor. Since last week test posting in the office is working well, I deem I should step up my blog update. Has not been very constant in updating my blog, be it the scrapblog or this. Feeling bad about it. Seth has been growing in tremendous speed! haha! That's obvious! He starts to enter the mimic stage where he'll mimic t...
