It was a beautiful day. A day the Lord blesses us, a day the Lord brings Derick and Jaslyn together as one. Have been dreaming of the day when my best friend get wed, today's the day!!
I am overwhelmed, excited, overjoyed...words can't fully express how I feel about my best friend of 23 years, her wedding, her happiness, her smiles. She's so gorgeous!!

Ok, this probably be a looong post but what the heck, it's my blog, I can write whatever I want, even though I am long winded, even though you are bored (YAWNing already!) about what I am going to write.
I've known Jaslyn since we are in Primary 1. Yes, way way back when both of us are so toot-looking. (that would be another post if I have time to do the old school days). In fact, we started from "enemies" till we are best of friends. I used to teased Jaslyn so much, I am so cynical, so full of horse shits when I was her friend from primary 1 throughout school. Even though, we are always hanging out together, I would pick her as an object for joke of the day. hiaz...see how naughty I am! We used to hang out at our neighbourhood playground at Blk 428 AMK, there's this stone mosaic hide out where we would climb up and sit on it, watch the sky, talk the talk....non stop of girly dreams, gossips, dreams and more dreams. Our friendship flourish since Primary 5-6, we become more open with our feelings for each other (don't get the wrong idea, we are not Les). We will freely express our unhappiness, praises about one another, then, we already learnt how to be best of friends.....that's to take each others comments as a mirror of ourselves and change for the better.
Indeed, we encourage each other throughout our lives. We watched each other grow up, going through rough patches, the bad days when moms nag non stopped, the naughty days when we steal from emporium, the days we talk about the same boy we both have a crush on. We are intimate and we have never ending topics to rave about. Best part, we are only 5 days apart from birth!!! hehehe....I am the elder....ya, though I am shorter.
Names that I called her: ling, xueling, Jas, Woman, Xiao Cao Boh. Funny how I wanna recall what I used to call or still calling her. But guess we have been giving each other funny names too. But that's our secrets to laugh about..... (",)
Jas, she's the one woman, who standby me, in my ups, my downs. She's the one that know my darkest secret, the one that share my intimate moments. Though now that we are grown up, we seldom have the luxury of time to really reminisce the past but when both of us are together, we are still as telepathic and as close with no barrier between us. We are always at ease about each other. As we always know that we are there to support, to hold, to love and to care.
Jas, she's very chirpy around close friends. Gorgeously beautiful, intelligent and creative. Full of ideas and actions. She has her inner most sensitivity that's so fragile and precious. Her strong characters outwardly, her gentleness only to be felt when you are close to her. Her wits, her singing, her acting. A waste she never really pursue the entertainment industry but then again, it's a blessing too.
