Buttock Abscess

My dad was diagnosed with Buttock Abscess by his GP. Mom called us up and told us that dad needed surgery immediately as recommended by the GP. Gosh! This is going to be a nightmare for my dad who is so afraid of going to the hospital, which old folk doesn't?

We were suppose to go out for lunch appointment with our friends. Since we have to go for the emergency surgery to resolve the buttock abscess, we are left with no choice but to postpone our lunch appointment. Dad was actually referred to TTSH but I suggested to go to Alexandra Hospital as TTSH have a horrendous waiting time for the A&E department. Moreover, AH (Alexandra Hospital) is renown for having senior doctors who do consultation instead of MOs. This would be more productive as senior doctors can quickly diagnose patient's condition and direct patient to the right department for treatment.

Anyway, it was a quick session at the A&E for my dad. Jack and Olive Tree sent dad to AH. We did not go to AH with them and stayed at my mom's with Jurnus till they return from hospital. Dad was admitted immediately. Had his surgery done at 8.30pm, lasting 1.5hrs. Though mom looks cool about it, I think she is very concern about dad, whether dad can take the surgery. Everyone knows that dad is so afraid of such medical treatment, surgery. Prayed to the Lord for comforting of dad and healing. AMEN!

Dad will be coming over to our place for recuperation. Good for his rest. He still commented that on mid autumn festival, people are celebrating with families and he has to stay in hospital. Walau! He should have not bore with the pain in the buttock till now, otherwise he won't have to spend his mid autumn festival in hospital, right?? Was telling mom, dad really "buttock itchy".

Jesus Loves Me

Seth woke up from his afternoon nap. He walked out of the bedroom and I was in the living room. Started to warm up a bit, and then he drove his fire engine truck around the living room. Next moment, here's what he was singing, Jesus loves me, yes I know, For the bible tells me noe, Didder one to him bidon, Yes, Jesus, loves me..... I thought I have heard wrongly, and he was repeating the song again and again. It's amazing for me. :) The effects of singing lullaby to your kid. They do remember!!! And can sing out almost 70% of the song, though the pronunciation may not be there for some words. But he gets the tune correct. It's so cute and heartwarming to hear that from my boy. Updates....more updates

D-day for IRAS e-Filing! I am such an 11th hour person, that I manage to e-file my tax return last night. Anyway, I am not getting any income for year 2005. So it's totally easy for me to e-file. Clicking and clicking a few buttons and the e-file is done. However, it wasn't so smooth flowing for Olive Tree. WHY? Because he has forgotten his Singpass PIN and he has to get a new one. Worse part is, he can only get it today, since I am such a last minute work person, he'll have to mad rush into getting the PIN from the appointed places for SINGPASS application. I felt bad and I apologise. What to do with a wife like that? Just have to bite the bullet lor. Since last week test posting in the office is working well, I deem I should step up my blog update. Has not been very constant in updating my blog, be it the scrapblog or this. Feeling bad about it. Seth has been growing in tremendous speed! haha! That's obvious! He starts to enter the mimic stage where he'll mimic t...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(
