Seeing Seth's 1st Jab

Feeling pretty excited about this morning as it's BB Seth's 1st Jab, which we are to witness. Though he has taken jab in the hospital, this would be the very 1st time we are sending him to the pediatrician for his jab.

It seems that our little prince knows today is his outing day, he woke up at 0715hrs for his feed and was awake, getting ready for his daily royal bath, (he usually bath around 0930-1000hrs). So it was really a blessing that we get to clean him up for his outing day. By the time we are all ready to go out, it was already 15 minutes to 0900hrs, which suppose to be our appointment with the pediatrician. We were caught in a jam along CTE, nothing new, as the morning traffic along CTE is always so packed, be it weekdays or weekends.

Today was my gynae's appointment at ACJ Clinic too. We've bought cakes for Dr Adrian, the other 2 pretty gynaes and the nurses in the clinic. Hope they like the small token. We expected crowds at the Pediatrician and ACJ Clinic, since Saturday is always the favourite time for consultation by working parents. Thank God, we did not really waited for long at the pediatrician. Dr Ong, Seth's pediatrician, greeted us and told us we did a good job as BB Seth put on a good weight. BB Seth is now weighing 4.48kg. He was saying usually a month old baby would gain 1kg, but BB Seth has gained 1.5kg, and I should keep going on for total breastfeeding. Tell you, I really like so "hao lian". Seeing my darling BB Seth put on good weight, such contentment. Then Dr Ong gave BB Seth the Hep B jab. I was previously praying to Jesus to strengthen BB Seth, so that he will no cry loudly after the jab has been administered. True enough, when BB Seth had the jab, he cried a little and Dr Ong passed him to me, immediately, BB Seth calm down when I soothe him a little. He wasn't all teary. Such strong boy!!! HEE.....

After the visitation to Dr Ong's, we went to ACJ Clinic, seen Adrian, had quite a long chat and sharing. I did my pap smear. Keep thinking that the pap smear gonna be painful but miraculously, it was really nothing much, or is it my HOLE too big??!! HA! We've developed photoes taken with Dr Adrian and the delivery suite nurses during BB Seth's birhday, so that we can give them for memory sake. Personally, I like the photo taken with the nurses and Dr. It looks good. So, this would be the last visit to Dr Adrian's till the next appointment a year's later, that would be for the next pap smear test. Dr Adrian encourages us to go for 2nd bb soon....hee... We wish too also. However, we are still enjoying our blessed champion and would want to see him grows. Probably another 2 years we will consider no. 2.

I didn't forget my shopping even when at TMC. I went to flava mama and guess what? I managed to find the tube bras that I've wanted for so long. Grabbed 2 and we left TMC around noon. Leaving with a merry heart. We head for Centrepoint. It's so different now. More than a month ago, it was just Olive Tree and me with BB Seth in my tummy shopping at Centrepoint. Twinkling of an eye, I am holding BB Seth in my arms, and shopping with Olive Tree. I kept on smiling and smiling.....what a happy mummy. We ate lunch at Prima, shopped at Robinson's and John Little, we got what we needed and left Centrepoint around 1400hrs. As we do not want to be out for too long, since BB Seth had a jab.

Visited Olive Tree's mom and yeah, guess it again, my Mother-In-Law is so happy seeing BB Seth lor. Their 1st Internal GRANDSON, as we chinese call it. Stayed at my in-laws' place till 1630hrs and we went home. It wasn't a totally happy episode between Olive Tree and me at my in-laws, that spurred Olive Tree to go home early, instead of staying longer for dinner. Anyway, I don't find the value in dwelling in the unhappiness.

Just breast-fed BB Seth.A contented sleeping handsome prince, of course not forgetting his ever so tired daddy.

so fine

*All of the above photos did not under go PP. What so great about these shots? Nothing really but just that it's taken with the newly acquired Fuji FinePix F100 fd . The decision of getting this was after reading the reviews, the forums and samples seen. Also, the PnS is so called, necessary now, since I find that bringing it around for our upcoming trip would be necessary. I must say the quality of photos taken in low light conditions definitely surpasses all that I've seen. Especially my old PnS Panasonic Lumix. I am eager to try out IQ again tomorrow morning and praying it's gonna be a beautiful day! Sam was telling me that be very careful with using this camera, cause when you really find it soo easy and obtaining superb IQ, you will tend to forget to use your DSLR! :D We'll see. On site comparison of the photos taken at John 3:16, this F100 fd really is much sharper as compared to Canon IXUS 860IS . Geez, which was what I have in mine previously if I wanna get a P...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(

Show Your True Color!

Was reading Amber's blog and found this interesting test. What's Your True Color? My Result: Yellow You're yellow , the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you! What are you? http://web.tickle.com/jumpto?test=colorogt&c=50652
