Supper... Tot of the day

Woke up at 3.50am for supper. Tot I could have survive without it, but my darling son kicked me up, to eat something...ha!

This afternoon went out meet my best friend, Jas for lunch at Tanjong Pagar, looked forward to meeting her since yesterday as we have not catch up with each other for long. Moreover, I wanted to know how's her prep for her wedding, and hopefully I can provide advice/help her in a way.

Journey started from AMK to TP. I took a MRT train down town. Normally, I drive myself around, so it was rare that I take train. But I was hoping to walk more for some exercise...crazy....

It was a crowded lunch hour, so AMK station is filled with crowds taking the N-S line. Guess that's the norm. Noticed that in a span of 3 mins, MRT PA system was announcing to commuters not to cross the yellow line for their own safety, so who said that the MRT Personnel not doing their job in monitoring the commuters.

Then I saw this "gunho" teenager of 14-15 years old, with his family, took a big leap and step over the yellow line, then he stepped back to his orignial position. His family members didn't even said a thing about his behavior.

I was thinking to myself
"Why is he behaving in such a manner, is he trying to prove how efficient the MRT Personnel is, if the MRT will fine him for stepping over?"

It was to me, a really stupid act by this teen, whom parents did not tell him off about his behavior, and in the event he really tripped and fell onto the track, the parents will put all blame to the MRT for not enforcing the safety of commuters. Even how much the LTA/MRT tried to educate the commuters with posters, warnings, PA Announcement, such things will still happen due to the stupidity of pple, isn't it?

As I continued my journey, I glued myself to my PDA News-on-the-go. Alighted at Raffles Pl, to transit to E-W line. Normally, I will try to avoid the crash with the crowd due to my "big Tummy". Not to obstruct others..hah..So I let the crowd enter the train and I followed behind. It was fully filled seats, and I was standing. There was this couple in front of me, the gal was trying to avoid looking in my direction, maybe she's not, and then glued to the boyfriend by arms, and talking. Then I noticed someone trying to get my attention on my left, besides the couple, a man waving to me, offering me his seat, he was with his galfriend, or friend. I declined politely stating I am getting off the next station. A world apart! One couple, ignoring my preggy look, the other on seeing me, trying hard to get my attention and offer me the seat.

When I alighted at TP, the crowd was "rushing" to the escalator, once again, i follow the flow and queue behind, instead of choosing to cut in half way at the escalator handle. When i was at the tip of going up, there were this few men, jus cut in my path and ignoring, once again, my big tummy, and oblivious, move up the escalator. Shit! (Sorry) I was really disgusted by their act. There was this man, whom is a white collar employed, with all due respect, newspaper in his hands, behaved like uncout, uncultured POS (Piece of Shit) and he walks like TLP(in hokkien).

Keeps me wondering, the behavior of our fellow singaporeans are really not up to mark. Caucasians abroad always have the gentlemenly behavior towards females, senior citizens, handicapped, but why our Singaporeans can't be educated into being so. Even how educated you are in your academic qualifications, holding hight positions in MNC, but with 0 EQ, you are nothing.

Now, we know why are we branded as "Ugly Singaporeans". It's not uncalled for.

Anyway, with the episodes I've met, I continued my journey to meet Jas, and we had a good time at lunch and the fellowship was great.

Did I say Jas and I had been friends since we are in Pri 1? That was 24 years back!

so fine

*All of the above photos did not under go PP. What so great about these shots? Nothing really but just that it's taken with the newly acquired Fuji FinePix F100 fd . The decision of getting this was after reading the reviews, the forums and samples seen. Also, the PnS is so called, necessary now, since I find that bringing it around for our upcoming trip would be necessary. I must say the quality of photos taken in low light conditions definitely surpasses all that I've seen. Especially my old PnS Panasonic Lumix. I am eager to try out IQ again tomorrow morning and praying it's gonna be a beautiful day! Sam was telling me that be very careful with using this camera, cause when you really find it soo easy and obtaining superb IQ, you will tend to forget to use your DSLR! :D We'll see. On site comparison of the photos taken at John 3:16, this F100 fd really is much sharper as compared to Canon IXUS 860IS . Geez, which was what I have in mine previously if I wanna get a P...

Our Sentosa Trip Photos, Update of Kids

These are some of the photos taken when we were on vacation at Sentosa. It was quite a fun time for both Seth and Grace. Though we didn't manage to get both of them in the pool, but we manage to get them into the bath-tub and swim together. :) Nothing like spending quality time with your kid. Learning to play the Rubik's Cube Grace's Cheeky Look. First for Grace in her Swimsuit. Getting a bit small to fit on her though. hahahaha! Will post more of the trip photos to my Flickr account. I need to be really discipline to update the milestones of the kids. Otherwise they will surely be forgotten when the time passes by. Grace started to wave bye-bye when she's almost 8 months. The adorable part of it is, when she waves, she will then clap her hands, as if praising herself that she waves bye-bye. Indeed when you have repetition actions, words with your babies, they will learn really fast. She started off learning how to clap her hands when I was singing to her, clap, clap c...

Doggy Poo

Seth's into this Korean Anime Craze now. He was so into Pororo for the past 2 weeks. Then last Thursday, he has a new fav, Doggy Poo . The Anime is quite a meaningful one and Seth enjoys watching it, he names the characters, he asked about the story line. The funny part of it is hearing him say, "Doggy Poo" with such a cuteness. The story tells the little ones and even us, adults, God has a good plan for all of us, no matter how insignificant we may think our lives are. Image courtesy from Wikipedia Tomorrow we are sending Seth for his review. Hope his lungs are cleared and the medication feeding days are over. It's really a great struggle to feed the little guy his Antibiotics. Even now, he can goes on and on repeating the word, "Anti-biotices". Compose a tune about it! Aiyo. :(
